Born in Rome in 1954, resident and freelancer in Sulmona. Contract professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Department of Neurology at the University La Sapienza of Rome and Palermo. Scientific researcher, specialized in digital biometrics and movement analysis. Amateur photographer since 1974. For years he has participated with some success in numerous competitions, as well as numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Winner of the 10th Edition of the Biennale d'Arte Contemporanea di Firenze 2015 (Digital Photography section).

Artistic Director of the Sulmonese Academy of Photography, he is the creator and curator of the International Ovidio Award with hundreds of participants.

He has several publications in international and industry journals.

Member of over 200 National and International Juries.
