I am cv Trina Sanyal,  a prominent photographer, educator, and salon and contest  juror based in Kalyani, West Bengal, India. I am an active organizer within the photographic community, notably serving as an organizer associated with the Kamala Memorial Photographic Society (KMPS).

Having grown up in a culturally rich environment, myself  re-engaged deeply with photographic art after receiving a DSLR in 2015. I quickly transitioned from pursuing photography as a personal passion to participating systematically in national and international exhibitions and salons.

• My  work encompasses several distinct themes: : My primary artistic focus centers on portrait and pictorial photography, alongside street photography. I always focus on composition theory, abstract photography, and high-contrast interactions of light and shadow. I also apply digital editing techniques—including low-key lighting and atmospheric effects—to enhance narrative depth.
•  I hold recognized photographic distinctions, including EFIAP (Excellence FIAP), EFIP, GPU CR-1, and title distinction Aphrodite from Global Photographic Union Hon. CPE, and HON. PESGSPC.
• Juror & Faculty: Since 2018, I  served as a faculty member at a Federation of Indian Photography (FIP) registered institute and acts as a jury member for various national and international salon competitions.

     By getting involved in teaching and adjudicating activities, I try to continuously upgrade myself, learn from others, as well as share my knowledge with others.
