Sidhartha Dey is a retired State Bank of India professional based in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Born on 2 November 1962, he is currently 64 years old and is enjoying his retired life by pursuing his passion for photography and travel.

After retirement, photography has become an important part of his life. He has developed a keen interest in travelling across India and capturing the beauty, culture, people, heritage, and diverse landscapes of the country through his camera.

An enthusiastic amateur photographer, Sidhartha has continued to develop his photographic skills through regular practice, travel, observation, and learning. His dedication to photography was recognised in July 2026, when he received the prestigious AFIP (Associate of the Federation of Indian Photography) distinction from the Federation of Indian Photography (FIP).

He takes great pride in combining his love of travel with photography. Every journey provides him with an opportunity to explore new places, observe different subjects, improve his photographic techniques, and gain valuable practical experience. He continues to learn and develop as a photographer while enjoying an active and fulfilling retired life.
