PROFILE
Sri Lankan photographer with around a decade of photographic practice, working across documentary, street and travel photography. His practice explores human emotion, cultural identity, social conditions, belief, labour, environmental change and the relationship between people and place. He combines patient observation with a fine-art sensibility, using photography as a visual language to reveal stories within everyday life.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Photography is my visual language — a way of listening to people, places and stories that often remain unseen. I look for moments where gesture, emotion, place and circumstance meet. My work moves between documentary observation and personal interpretation, seeking images that do more than record a moment: they invite the viewer to enter it, question it and feel its human presence.
